Another one of The Heller House by Miami architect Igor Polevitkzy. 1950. Outdoor living, post war optimism, and the zenith of the passion for leisure.
As we are in the hick of mosquito season here in Florida let’s take a look at Igor Polevitzky’s Heller House aka The ‘Birdcage’. He coined the term for some of these split level screen enclosure homes ‘Tropotypes’.
